I love staying long term at Kem’s. I’ve been back here many times in the past and each time I leave I can’t wait to get back. The training is so good and all the instructors are knowledgeable and caring they really focus on breaking technique down and helping the students. The food delicious and the weather is nice it’s good to escape the Thailand heat up here. Highly recommend this gym ❤️

Cannot recommend this gym enough. Kem and Mo care so much about your development and well-being. The training, food, location and trainers are top notch. I've been back a couple times and looking forward to coming back again

An amazing experience! I only stayed for a week, but I learned (and relearned + re-relearned) so much. The coaches, led by Kem himself, are very professional, attentive and patient. Even though this was my first contact with the sport at the late age of 37, I feel this week helped me to get a good foundation/understanding of the basics and it has motivated me to keep training when I get back home (and hopefully I can return at some point). There was a good atmosphere overall and also the other more advanced students/trainers gave a lot of good feedback/advice too. The location was also perfect, away from the noise and pollution of the city placed in the picturesque mountainside. I really liked the room I was staying in and the food served was delicious (plus the portions were big, which helped to fuel the recovery process after intense training)! Big thanks to Kem, James, Sarkis, Petchdam, Mo and everybody else that made the stay wonderful!

Simply the best Whether you are looking to train for longer periods and have fights or, like me, stay only for a week - this is the perfect place to get away from any distractions and focus only on Muay Thai. The trainers are seasoned and experienced and Kem himself conducts all trainings. I was surprised as I expected him to be around and check in on us from time to time - but he was there all the time and completely involved. Although a great champion, he’s a super humble person and it’s obvious from his actions that he cares about each and every student who comes to his gym. Again, it didn’t matter that I was older, not fit, and not training for a fight - he spent so much time and attention on each and every one of us during my time there. Another point worth noting, some of the great Muay Thai fighters aren’t necessarily good at teaching - Kem is an exceptional teacher. His attention to detail and knowledge f the sport, allows him to quickly access and then adjust your training needs. I was super impressed at this. He did this on a daily basis with each of us. It wasn’t a “one and done” deal - he was with you every session.

Stayed for close to a month here. Gym is well equipped and the trainers take pride in keeping the space clean - can often spot them and even the owner, Kem, sweeping the leaves and debris. Training is beginner friendly even though it can be a little intimidating as this gym is frequent by Muay Thai enthusiasts (usually with their own home gyms) and even amateur fighters. Trainers will help to correct posture and techniques, often stepping in to correct if they spot an error. The gym offers a comprehensive package of boarding, food (twice a day) and training (twice a day). On Sundays, there is an option to go to town for a little R&R - just pay a little to cover the gas as the drive each way is often at least an hour. The owners, Kem, Mo and their family, and instructors, Paddam, James and Krit, are friendly and really genuine. Would recommend if you are looking for a Muay Thai retreat up in the mountains.
